• Equity Coaching: We offer an equity-based professional development program that encourages the creation of liberatory equity mindsets. This unique and intentional learning experience equips educators to meet each student’s needs, ensuring their daily success and personal growth.
• Wraparound Approach: Our team-based planning process provides individualized, family-driven care to address children’s physical, emotional, and mental needs. This comprehensive support system fosters holistic development and well-being.
  

Key Components

• • Family Engagement: We empower families to tackle the growing academic achievement gap, exacerbated by the pandemic and other socioeconomic factors. Our services include accountability coaching for both parents and students, promoting a collaborative approach to education
  • Staff Professional Development: We conduct coaching sessions with teachers focusing on race, equity, and tools to enhance engagement and communication with students and families. These sessions aim to build inclusive and effective educational environments.
  • Equity and Experiential Learning: We integrate real-world issues into the classroom, drawing on students’ cultural backgrounds to shape curriculum and instruction. Experiential learning encourages students to develop solutions for real-world problems, highlighting their problem-solving and innovative skills. For example, we have organized field trips for 4th-grade students to farms and farmers’ markets, helping them understand the importance of healthy food choices.
  • Mentorship with High School Students: Our life coaching sessions empower young leaders as they transition to the next stages of their lives. The program focuses on developing communication and leadership skills, while also identifying areas for improvement. At-risk high school students needing additional credits have the opportunity to mentor affiliate middle and elementary school students in a supervised setting during and after school.
